Valota

Since 2004, trees have been a central subject for Valota with the series "Arborescences", "Valota's trees reveal the personality of the painter, transcended by the harmony that emerges from them, acquiring density and vigour in an inner continuity desired by the artist.
Namely, to summon a polyphony of figures between here and elsewhere, between earth and sky. This is enough to indicate that the presence of these trees is first and foremost the embodiment of a tension with which his artistic practice is confronted. They are the ideal "medium" of escape to which the artist symbolically resorts.
